The Ending?

Can someone please tell me the ending? The dvd version I rented won't load the rest of the movie. It stops right at the part with the baby in the dumpster, then takes me back to the dvd menu. I'd really like to know what happens next. Thanks in advance.

whatever was in the dumpster, it jumps out at her and then we flash back to the house and the husband comes home. You see the back of Virginia rocking in the rocking chair nursing a demonic looking preemie baby. Then she turns to her husband and says "Help me" the demon thing gets pissed grabs like a screwdriver or something and stabs her busband in the eye and kills him. Then Virginia grabs her mother and they run out of the house to the car. Her mom says where are we going? and she says to the doctors. They show up at the clinic and Virginia holds a gun on the doctor asking what did he do. Doctor confesses that he made super babies, and how they are the future. ANd that we don't even need mothers anymore then he shows her babies growing in big plastic bubbles. Then she fights with the doctor and she shoots him. Then she shoots up the bubbles killing the babies.
SHe then jumps in her car with her mother. The demon baby was in the backseat and caused them to crash. Her mom dies, byt virginia drags herself towards some rocks as the sun is coming up. The demon baby thing is crying and she says "Sshhhh, it's going to be alright..." then it ends.
Very stupid movie, you didn't miss much, LOL

I do not for the life of me understand that ending though...

Is the baby making her be nice to it telepathically? I remember in the second movie, (yes there was a sequel) that the Michelle Greene character was being controlled by her baby...

Or is it that she's trying to be sweet to him so she can kill him?

Weird that they never answered that.

reply

I don't think it was telepathy, I think her mind just "snapped". Thats what I got from it. I also don't think she planned on killing it.
I can't believe they made a sequel! LOL

I can´t belive it either. That someone actually watched this movie and thought "Well, considering what a masterpiece this was, there HAS to be a demand for a sequel".

"I was going to the worst place in the world, but I didn´t even know it"

Yeah the sequel wasn't that great. I liked the first one though. I just found the dvd just the other day for a good price too. I finally got to see the real ending instead of reading it. That baby looked creepy!

Yeah, actually the sequel is about someone who also went through the same treatment on a war path to kill all the babies, don't know why they didn't bring Virginia back, she talks about killing the rest toward the end

My sister and I went through this phase in our teens over a decade ago where we just started working our way through the horror section of the video rental store. We saw all sort of horrible horror movies including the unborn. All I can remember of the movie is the closing scene, where after the crash the naked scary baby is perched on a rock doing this horrible wailing and a weird twitchy swaying back and forth thing and my sister in I just found it to be the funniest thing at the time. We would imitate to each other in awkward situations to make each other laugh. This movie isn't a classic just classically horrible but it was still worth a good laugh.

Just one of the things I hate about DVDs every time we rent them. I wish a new format that's not a disc would be invented so we can kiss those skips goodbye. :(
