To all of the haters of this early 90's forgotton film

There is nothing wrong with this movie!...Look at all of the Hollywood garbage being recycled, reuesed and then released these days...This movie was (and is) still enjoyable...just forgotton, however, it still serves it's purpose...A mild action/comedy with the dude who plays "Chef!" (on PBS)...It's a pretty fun film!

I just wanted to throw my two cents in there...

"wow dude you are gay like wow"

How beautifully articulate.

Hah.

I liked this movie. I just spent 10 minutes doing a search for it because all I could remember was the exchange in the bathroom about being a mulatto from the waist down.

This movie wasn't bad at all for the time. At least it wasn't a remake.

This film was just bad.. Lenny trying to fake an American accent..lol. In my opinion Eddie Murphy was best suited to this role as i believe he was still funny back in 1991

Yeah it was a good light little comedy and lenny wa decent. too bad his acting career didn't take off in America.

he was funniest as the pretend-mobster. All those scenes where he's pretending and trying to fit in/ make friends with people trying to kill him.

"Look at all of the Hollywood garbage being recycled, reuesed and then released these days..." - like "White Chicks" which had a similar idea, but was effing terrible.

True but "White Chicks" was filmed maybe 10 years after the release of this movie. Maybe if you can name a movie released prior to this one you will have proven a point...oh, my bad "Watermelon Man" starring Godfrey Cambridge (1970.)

reply

I just began watching it today on youtube. It's not even bad. It's funny. :) Sucks the movie is receiving negative feedback, but to their own.
