Lenny henry a comedian?

Lenny Henry has NEVER been remotely funny, i am English and i don't find him funny and i don't know of ANYONE who does.
Only the BBC stuck with him with dire "comedies" like chef etc.
Lenny Henry is clearly a very deluded individual who thinks he is a comic genius, i am sure he thinks he is Eddie Murphy Bill Cosby and others rolled into one.
News for you mr Henry, you are no-where near their talent. Its all in your head.
Every time he appears on programmes in the UK like the one show he sits there all smug and the presenters suck up to him.
He is not funny!!! The fact that he no longer appears on tv other than adverts for Premier inn, speaks for itself. Finally the BBC and ITV have woken up and realised that despite trying to force him down the publics throat.. he IS NOT what people want to see on tv. Oh while im at it someone do the same for that lumbering un fnny miranda and the dire Russell howerd.

Lenny Henry was a comedian.

In the late 80s I saw Lenny Henry's one-man comedy show at the Bristol Colston Hall.

From what I remember...
- He sold-out.
- He relentlessly took the pi$$ out of the Bristolian accent - much to the local's delght.
- His act was funny (in the context the time - I suspect that some of the material would not have stood the test of time).

It appears that Lenny is concentrating more on stage acting at this time. I don't think many consider him primarily as a comedian these days... but at one time he was a comedian.

I must confess I don't look forward to Lenny's skits on Comedy Relief telethon days or other charity events. I don't dislike Lenny - he's always struck me as a genuine, likeable chap at heart. I imagine that eventually he'll end-up in another TV sit-com.

He used to be quite funny imho. He was OK in this movie, though I don't remember too much of it, other than the quip about ''I'm a mulatto'' when the makeup wears off and he has to divert the killers attention.

Fairly amusing, but undemanding fare.

Everything will be OK in the end, if it aint OK,it aint the end.
