My daughter noticed a Tommy Hilfiger bag being carried on the University campus in 1983. This would not have been possible. Tommy Hilfiger Corporation wasn't founded until 1984. (wikipedia.org)

shareActually, no, but I did buy the movie on Amazon (since I couldn't find it anywhere else) and I didn't notice the bag, but what I did notice was the gender roles throughout the movie. That may have been accurate and I'm SO GLAD we've moved past the "powerful woman who can only be powerful if she marries..." YUCKO!!! Well, I am glad I was able to see it again, flaws and all.
