UVA
This film is mentioned in the first dorm tour here at UVA because of the first part of the movie in which the characters are at UVA. Besides Silence of the Lambs, I know of no other movie in which UVA is even mentioned. Anyone else know?
shareNo, but I've heard UVA mentioned in THE WEST WING (the woman bodyguard for the President's daughter said she went to UVA) and YES, DEAR (the main couple had a flashback of when they met while attending UVA).
If you watch TRUE COLORS, John Cusack's character travels to D.C. for New Year's and the bar he goes to is actually in Charlottesville! Unfortunately they tore it down a few years ago (along with the offices that use to house THE DAVE MATTHEWS BAND in the 90's).
