Will we ever see a new movie by director Van Dormael? ?

Weird that Van Dormael has only made 2 feature movies, Toto le Héros and Le Huitième Jour. Not only were both these movies lauded by the critics and prizewinners at the Cannes Film Festival (Camera d'Or for Toto and Best actor for Jour), but they were also big hits in Belgium and France. So, I can't imagine that Van Dormael would have a problem seeking financiers or a European studio not willing to work with him. he's a very talented director with two amazing movies under his belt and we, or at least I, want to see more movies made by him. What has happened? Why hasn't he made a movie in the last nine years or so?

He's been doing alot of plays lately.

Apparantly he was busy with a script on Kuifje. That failed.
He finished filming "Mr. Nobody" and is due to see its release May 2009 at the Cannes Filmfestival.
His third feature film is set in 2092 and the main character is called Nemo Nobody, played by Jared Leto. He is the only living man left on earth.

I came across Toto after watching Mr Nobody which is remarkable piece of art.
There are quite many senses in M.N. that i see now are inspired/copied from Toto.

Go see it, you definitely won't regret !

I actually found out about Van Dormael when i saw Mr Nobody which I really loved. I just saw Toto le héros which is a very good movie but not as good as Mr Nobody and I intend to see The Eighth Day as soon as possible. I hope we'll see his fourth film soon enough and not after a decade;)
