Does anyone know what Callie Khouri thinks of the film?. Was she pleased with it?.

At her IMDb page, one of her Personal Quotes indicates that she loved the ending, so she probably loved the movie.

Was the ending of the film in the original script, or was it changed?.

It was in the original script. In fact, when Ridley Scott met with Callie they discussed the ending and she said she wouldn't change it or she didn't want it changed (or something like that).
