Something that everyone seems to have overlooked (SPOILERS)

SPOILERS.

The movie itself and the cult following that it has overlooks the seriousness of this flick. There ARE serious scenes, but this motion picture makes a joke of the whole thing, Thelma in one scene says that she's "having fun", what the hell is fun about all of that??? They're on the run from the cops and they've added robbery to the list. They either went insane or had a seared conscience because wouldn't anyone else in that situation be worried as hell???

Bottom line, Thelma was sexually assaulted, they got away and Louise killed him all because the attempted rapist was talking foolishness. They could have gone to the police and he probably would have got arrested, Thelma's face was a mess, her nose was bleeding and her jacket was ripped. Regardless that people saw her dancing with him all night, the evidence on her would have probably got him locked up.

Overall, everyone seems to have overlooked the fact that a serious thing happened and the women are in deep s***. The movie and the cult following acts as if this cine is some happy film where the girls just go on a road trip. smh.

One of the taglines is "Someone told them to get a life, and they did" how is that appropriate to the movie storyline??!!!
