The only bad part of this movie is that it had to end. I love the cast and the realness of the characters. The music is excellent throughout the movie. I can't believe I don't have it on DVD yet. I must have rented it 20 times.

It was not a great movie, it flopped in the box office and the critics disliked it. Somewhere the director got it wrong. I actually think it would had done better if it was made and released in the late 90s when there was more nostalgia for the 80s!

I love the film. There's no doubt its flawed and has a few cringe-worthy moments, but when it's good (Annie Potts' performance, the conversation between her and Duane near the end, the last shot of the film, the look in Bridges' eyes in the entire film, etc) its great. Personally, I love it. I picked up the DC on laserdisc recently and can't wait to watch it.
