Funny Scene April Asking Sterns Questions

Does anyone think the part is funny when April says to Sterns, "I was wondering if I could ask you a few questions off the record?"

And Sterns replies by saying, "Miss O'Neill, my record clearly shows that I have no off-the-record record. Make a record of that."

Sterns was funny with his lines in both movies.
