The two bounty hunters, concept borrowed from Critters?

I re-watched this movie for the first time in ages, because I just found out the one bounty hunter was played by Mark Calaway aka The Undertaker of WWE. Don't the two bounty hunters remind you of the same duo in the first two Critter movies?

Yeah, but those Critters guy don't have a memorable quote as good! And it was only one!

You know, I felt the same way when I watched Critters a long time ago on SciFi. I remember hearing music that was similar to the bounty hunter theme.
