Aquila bona? A quiller boner? (Line spoken by Michelle)

What is the meaning of this? Anyone know?

reply

I didn't understand several lines, much how my conversations go with my own 91 year old granny. You just smile, agree, and wrap your hand in theirs, thanking God you still have a moment to spend with them.

reply

Michelle is not one of the old-timers. She was only twenty-seven when the film was made. (Actually, this is the only line I didn't understand!)

reply

Oh, I'm so sorry I didn't understand your question dear. Maybe she said 'Aquitter in the bonfire'... Michelle was possibly joking that she was going to toss her elderly comrades into the small bonfire that they had made, if they didn't hush their groaning and start pulling more weight. I don't know.

reply

That is totally uncalled for.

reply

Oh, buzz off, Angela Lansbury. I loved this movie, and the sweet ladies who starred in it. A little wisecrack never hurt anyone, Miss sassy mouth.

reply

I am a mister, not a miss.
