Stone Cold, the Bill Clinton connection

Recall reading somewhere about the Capitol grand finale being filmed in Little Rock instead of the films purported location of Jackson MS. Anyone been inside the Arkansas state capitol to verify if any interiors were used? The exterior shots clearly show downtown Little Rock and the Arkansas river.
Since our 42nd president was Governor of Arkansas from '83-'92, I presume he must have had some role in okaying use of the state capitol grounds for filming.
