I'm gonna be in this is November!
I'm playing Andy - I'm very nervous about doing the part, but can't wait, tis going really well so far!

shareSo how did it go? This was a stage production, I assume. Did you break a leg, or any other appendages?
shareIt went quite well, although the first night the fire alarm went off in the middle of it (how annoying!!! - I reckon someone was smoking in the toilets personally, naughty naughty), another night I was meant to flick my stick out in front of me and instead, I let go of it and it went into the audience - Imagine trying to keep a straight face once you've done that.
I really enjoyed doing it though, it's a great play.
I'm glad to hear it went well, despite the fire alarm and flying stick -- I trust no one was injured. This is kind of an obscure choice for a play, but it's great to dig out an overlooked gem rather than doing something overly familiar like "West Side Story" again.
shareI completely agree. Well..except that the first and last play I directed was Romeo And Juliet...which is really very familiar..but you just have to put your own spin on it I suppose.
