'Stepping Out' airs on Turner Classic Movies Dec. 14, 2010 at 1 A.M.

A TCM premiere! Part of a Liza Minnelli marathon that night. "Private Screenings: Liza Minnelli" at 8, "Cabaret" at 9, "A Matter of Time" at 11:15 and finally "Stepping Out" at 1 in the morning.

"Matter" and "Stepping" are not on DVD as most of you probably know, so here's an opportunity to make copies while we wait for that to happen.

And hopefully it WILL happen. "Lucky Lady" is finally coming out on DVD (officially) on Feb. 1, 2011.

Viva Liza!

TCM has rescued many no-DVD orphan movies---perhaps they might consider issuing this one.

That would be wonderful. Robert Osborne's intro last night was certainly complementary--and detailed. It's good to see this film appreciated after almost 20 years.

I hope TCM repeats "Stepping Out" in an earlier and more accessible time slot, say, a Saturday around 6 or 8 o'clock, so even more people can catch up with it.

Good point about the time slot, which is likely to have limited the number of viewers. (And was unjustified by any 'adult' content!)
