I read an interview with her last week in some magazine and she said that she's surprised this hasn't come out yet on DVD, even though some of her other "crap" has.

Sorry to disagree violently! It's a super little film with a great performance from Liza Minelli and a faithful record of the stage play. Anyone interested in dancing should see it. Why NOT on DVD - after 16 years!!!!

MagicMan, I "try, try, try," but I can't understand why this isn't on DVD. It's a delightful film suited to a rainy afternoon or the end of a rough day. It has some great dancing, and the cast works well together. And the full-screen VHS treatment doesn't do the dance scenes justice.

shareHard to believe indeed. I'm honestly not that much into dancing or musicals in general, and I absolutely loved this film. You'd think Liza fans alone would make this cost-effective for a DVD release.
