shareRepublic Pictures has never released it to DVD, only VHS. That other version you speak of is an unofficial release and it was dubbed from VHS to DVD. It has no menu and the picture quality is not very good. shareI have the Rare Movies DVD, and it's terrible. It has excellent color (so it couldn't have been "dubbed from VHS"), but the image is so soft as to be eye-straining. When I complained, I didn't even receive an offer of a refund.
Fortunately, I have the LV and an LV player. However, LaserDisks have a rather blah, washed-out look on flat-panel displays; I don't know why.
