Sound mix problem

Maybe it may just be me but on the new DVD several of the sound effects (a key point being when a key ring with a rabbit's foot on it falls to the ground in the tunnel) have an overabundance of deep bass but when the train hits the car and the following explosion and all of the flashbacks featuring said explosion has no bass at all and sounds overall flat. Did anyone else have the same problem?

Had the same problem. Had to switch my receiver (yamaha natural sound) to night mode to get rid of the problem without having to mess with all of my levels. Low budget = even lower than normal sound budget.
