Does anyone know what the award was in reference to (if anything)? I'm still confused as to why he was receiving an award

shareI took it, that it was to show that a reason is not really need to give someone an award, as he seemed a ridiculous choice to receive one in the first place.

Yes, lol, it is ridiculous that HE received that award. Trying to get rid of the main star of the soap , and scheming and being so phony.
