guilty pleasure

I know this movie didn't do great at the box office and its sure hasn't been a rental giant, but it is a favorite of cable TV and I hate to say it.. its a VERY GUILTY PLEASURE of mine. I almost will always stop on it passing through channels and stick with it. Who's with me!!

I haven't seen this movie in a while, but I always thought this movie was just a lot of fun. Over the top (as a comedy about soap operas should be) and very funny. Field and Kline are so much fun to watch and the rest of the cast is a delight. Hmmm...now I want to see it again.

Cathy Moriarty and Robert Downey, Jr. are both particularly hysterical in this flick. Very broad, very funny. Also Whoopi. Terrific.

"The guy was decapitated...He DOESN'T HAVE A HEAD! How am I supposed to write for a guy who doesn't have a head?"

one of my favorite lines in any movie.

agree, it's one of those perfect channel surfing comedies - you can pick right up at any point in the movie and still enjoy the hell out of it - just a real treat

One of my favorite comedies of all time! It's so overlooked nowadays!

This movie makes me laugh, very good for an extremely bad day. I don't understand why it didn't do well but it is funny.

Agreed. A very under rated comedic gem.

The entire cast was great but my favorites are Sally, Kevin, Whoopee and Downey jr. The delivery of their lines, their facial reactions and expressions are all priceless.

Even the supporting cast were very funny.

I crack up everytime the director is explaining the scene where Elizabeth Shue's character is supposed to meet Celeste for the first time and pulls out a knife. The way Shue suddenly whips out the knife and the director flinches before he catches himself. LOL!

Just finished watching the DVD, again, and I've watched it on TV a number of times before finally getting the DVD.

RIP Carrie Fisher.
