The ultimate HIPSTER movie?

If you consider anyone a hippy or hipster you are failing. Congratulations on rejecting people for thinking for themselves and trying to do their own thing. Enjoy your mind box and remain thinking inside of it, those who created it for you will love the extra support you give them with your money, time, thoughts, and lack of action. You haven't realized we're all the same goddamn person and perhaps you are missing out on a certain part of the human experience that has been outlawed in most countries. Did I give up on these realizations that these huge institutions and our overall direction is bad because it was the easy way out to just find a job and keep the broken machine running a little longer for an increase in a number on a computer screen, comfortably numb? I'll keep my interest in the media so much that I think about what the media tells me to while I should be focused on other tasks like the work I am doing. I repeat opinions given to me by the news and do not think for myself as much as I should. Shouldn't I be paying attention to the little details in the scenes of my life? Why is it a taboo to talk about some coincidences as being something potentially more than just coincidences? Don't I remember those ridiculously improbable things that appeared in a pattern and I was too scared to tell anyone about because they'd think I'm "crazy" due to the labels used in our culture? Keep ignoring that, willfully, it's doing a lot of good keeping things mundane and repetitive. Why don't I try to tune out of everything that's going on outside of what my own two eyes can see for a week or two and see what kinds of things I notice? Is two weeks really that much time to see what happens when focus is moved entirely to the self without any brain static getting in the way? What the *beep* is this post? How did I find myself reading this? Is every moment a chance to better myself and the rest of me?

Love always,
¿¿¿ ...You, Myself, Schizo, Awake, Shaman, Hippy, Hipster, God.... ???

P.S.
How do you know? You don't unless you do.

P.S.S.
If you took this at face value you have are also failing.

I hate the term 'hipster'. What is a hipster? Its a myth.

Great film though, perfect film for its time. It sort of defined the 1990s ethos, without even trying. The last scene is incredible!

people like you are worse then hipsters
at least (im hopeful) they mind themselves. people like you find a movie that in ways deviates from the 'conventional' film narrative and just deal it an absolute such as 'the ultimate hipster movie' just because you probably didn't like it and other people did...

At first I would say yes but then again, that would make me one, right?

For me this movie wasn't great, easily could have been a radio conversation. I do get what they were going for and they kinda succeeded. I wouldn't recommend somebody to watch this for a movie night or something, but to kill time and then know about it, yes...only for 1 time though.
