I almost Fell in Love with Jodie Foster

Who else felt that way?

reply

Nah.

I couldn't get over the Lebonize thing.

reply

Lebonize? What is that?

reply

It's where all the Lezbonese come from.

reply

I have no problem with that.

reply

If that's really you I have no problem with you having no problem with that.

reply

As long as were all on the same page I thought I'd mention I have no problem with you having no problem with him having no problem with that.

If you don't read the newspaper you are... Probably under 70 years old.

reply

If she and Jodie Foster "got it on" I'd be happy to watch. But I'd eventually want in on the action and (sadly) Jodie Foster would eventually get an elbow and a shove.

reply

Yes, particularly 24 years later.... But ill admit to not understanding a flucking word of what's happening in this thread aside from a small part of me thinking something needs to be done for Lebanon, or the Lezbonize people... Possibly immediately.

reply

Bill Handel refers to lesbians as "lebonese" or something like that.

Well, I became a huge fan of hers after watching this one and Taxi Driver, so I can totally understand your falling in love with her. Her performance in Lambs was beyond awesome, she's an excellent actress who is also eloquent, smart, beautiful and talented, so no wonder you fell for her!

reply

Heh, not only did I fall head over heels, you could include my knees as well. She was so attractive then. One of my greatest muses of all time.

After all... tomorrow is another day.

reply

Her performance was so honest and intense. Hardly seen anything like it.

reply

True. Her acting coupled with that of Anthony Hopkins is probably the best onscreen chemistry in the history of film. Their winning the Oscar is one of the instances where the academy got it right.

After all... tomorrow is another day.

Nah. I'm good.

reply

You may have been "good" with that nonsense (not surprising), but apparently IMBd wasn't (also not surprising).

reply

Yeah, I think the millions who saw this felt the same, she's so passive here, but so commanding. She doesn't have to do anything, she just has this innate charisma that keeps you fixated.
