A little hint that Belvedere. Ohio is important early in the film

During the first meeting with Hannibal, Clarice notes his drawings, specifically one of Florence, in Hannibal's words, "as seen from the Belvedere". Hannibal has been following the Buffalo Bill killings and knows who Jame Gumb is and where he lives, so he makes a drawing with the perspective of Buffalo Bill's hometown.
