Since I have seen it in my teenage years, I always though Dolph should of played Brandon's role and vice versa. Brandon Lee has much more of a Japanese culture than the "american" look of Dolph. Still, the duo kick a$$.

I also agree with darkfalz's review on the main page, that the theme was kind of insulting: huge all-american blonde dude comes in and rescues the asian girl from the ruthless gang of asian guys, gives her what Brandon called 'the biggest dck i've ever seen on a man,' and is supposedly more in-tune with asian culture than the asian guys he kills. Why couldn't the protagonist have been an asian guy? I guess that's not what action fans wanted to see, at least not 14 years ago when theaters were full of this kind of crap.

Bruce lee was about five foot I think and tiny but with his shirt off he was complete muscle.
In a fight between dolph and Brandon or Bruce, both of them would have killed him in two minutes flat.
They were both faster, stronger and complete muscle.
Even though Arnie is huge, in a fight he wouldn't have stood a chance with Bruce or Brandon.
They would have knocked him dead in two minutes.
Look at Bruce lees body and Brandon's body too.
They were all muscle and Brandon was on his way to being just like his father. They were and still are the best martial artists in the world. It's an American film, so obviously they had to have dolph be the best but Brandon could have kicked his ass. Dolph is a lot slower than him cos he's got more weight to carry.

Ah... come on! Who in their right mind would believe that?! LMAO! Dolph Lundgren while a smart guy, for what I read on his bio... should have stuck to something else than acting... he has no acting hability whatsoever! Brandon on the other hand, did. It was just tragic that his life was cut off so short. Im sure he would have had much better roles in the future. Oh, and if we are going to talk about his fighting habilities... geez, the guy is so slow... Im sure 10 bad guys would have ran away or kicked his ass by the time he was done with one of his moves... hehe! Not to put him down though, I have nothing against Lundren. But the truth of the matter is, that this film wouldn't have been better anyways... it is still a bad movie, lol. That I guess to some it is fun to watch. It's rather corny in many ways.
Not to be a nitpicker or a trainspotter, but Lundgren has a real martial arts trophy under his belt, unlike some fakes. Sure, it does not turn him into a good actor, but at least, his martial arts credibility is true !
