Does this movie...

...resemble anything like the following description.

"What I remember is a man and woman who I'm pretty sure were romantically involved (probably husband and wife). An argument or something brought out tension and the man uses scissors to injure the woman. I seem to recall she was cut on the cheek. After that there is a scene in the shower where you can see blood on the glass after she is recouping. At some point she sees the man sitting in his chair and stabs him in the stomach with what I believe were the same scissors."

What I described there is something I saw a long time ago and I'm wondering if this could be the movie. I may not be precise with the details as my recollection of it is vague, but if what I said rings any bells it'd really satisfy my curiosity. Thanks in advance.
