I was at a book store browsingg through the kids section and saw the sarah , plain and tall book. next to it was another called more perfect than the moon. it was the sequel to winter's end. cassie is 8 and sarah has another baby. wasn't she too old to raise cassie. now she's having another kid. Jeez ! I skimmed through the small book. interesting just that one thing threw me for a loop.

What happens if you get half killed twice?
I've not read any of the books so I do not know if Sarah's age was discussed in the books but it did seem to me that both actors who played Sarah and Jacob were too old. In the first movie Jacob's wife died at age 20 and has been dead for 6 years meaning if she was alive she would have been 26 but Glenn close was 44 when she made the move and Christopher Walken would have been 48 when he filmed it. So either Jacob was way older than his first wife or both of them were poorly cast. Don't get me wrong they both did a superb job but the thing about the ages just seemed off to me.
