No way this film gets made in America (SPOILERS)

No way this film gets made in America! It's a very thought provoking film. The young teacher has to choice emotionless sex with a married woman, sex with the older sister or a relationship with the young boy. The young boy is the only one who really loves the teacher. SPOILER ALERT- In the end he choose none of them and leaves the village.

Actually, for me, this movie is about unrequited love and give a try to people that love you. The teacher really have feelings for that girl with the groom, but he likes everyone, he knows that the boy is the only one who really loves him and when his sister shows up is like he could have something with her, since she's a woman and their relationship could resemble what he has with the boy, what doesn't happen.

It's hard to say, but I guess I would do the same thing he did in the end. It's not easy to have a relationship with a boy, he's gonna grow up, maybe won't be in love with him for long and the girl will marry and that's final, so... walk away from all of this is the best option, unfortunatelly.

Hm, that's cool, but when I was this age I just fell in love with boys at my age. I don't know, this movie is so subtle, almost nothing is actually said and for me, like I stated before, it's about unrequited love. It made me wonder how everything would be if we gave a chance to every person that loves us, no matter what, age, gender or anything (I felt the same way when I watched "Chasing Amy").

Actually, considering that he was a first year student at University, I'd say he was 18. I don't know why even in the summary which I read somewhere it was stated that he could be in his early 20s.

I was 18 in my first year at Uni and so were 90% of my classmates. The rest were 17 or 19.

Alfred Borden : Are you watching closely?
