This is the type of movie I'd make

I DO NOT mean that as a compliment!

I don't know a thing about writing, directing, filming, sound, lighting, acting - so if I were to make a movie, I think it'd be like this one, pretty awful.

Just a few minutes into the movie, I tried to turn on the captions, as I couldn't understand part of the dialogue, captions weren't even an option on the dvd I rented.

I listened to some of the dvd commentary, and k.d. said there was never any rehearsing - guess what - IT SHOWS!

Plot was okay, in the right hands this could have been a good movie. But my experience? I'd like my 99 cents back from Blockbuster.

The best thing in this movie was k. d. lang as the awkward boy who is really a girl. Other than that, the film did not include anything very special. But it was OK. Pity k. d. lang has played in so few movies.
