Jack off JIll 'My Cat'

It took me years to find the name of this movie so I thought I'd share the little random tidbit of info that brought me to it.

In 1998 Hit Parader did an interview with the band Jack Off Jill and in it Jessicka, the lead singer, said she wrote the song "My Cat" because of this movie she saw about a guy carrying his dead cat across the desert in a cooler. I think to myself, "sounds like a cool movie!" but the article never mentioned the movie's name unfortunately. So, I cut the article out and kept it. Low and behold I finally got it confirmed that the film mentioned is Reuben and Ed!

I'm so excited!

I never really thought about that until just now! I'd been aware of Rubin & Ed, but hadn't seen it or a preview at all. I think I'm going to have to rent it now. (I keep putting it off due to school & forgetfulness.)
