shareI've read that it was in production since at least 1985 or at the very least Glover had created the character then. If it came out sooner I think more people would have had some idea of what was happening.

"Filming started on September 24, 1990, and stopped due to the departure of actor Peter Boyle. Howard Hesseman replaced Peter Boyle and shooting resumed on October 16, 1990."
I get the impression that shooting took place over a normal period of time, but they had trouble getting it financed.
It's weird how threads about the DVD get deleted on such an inactive board without newly started threads.
Do you own the DVD made and sold by the director?
I have wanted it for a long time, but am wary of the quality and price. I've e-mailed the website twice and gotten no response.
My brother and I both own VHS copies and have thought about buying a DVD from Trent Harris for a while. But since we can still pop in the VHS on an old VCR it hasn't been a huge priority. I've bought other things from the site, books that he gladly signed for me but not any films.
