Here's what Disney needs to do.

Give this character to Marvel Studios and let them make the reboot but do NOT make it part of the MCU. Marvel studios will have to do something besides the MCU sooner or later so it can start with The Rocketeer.

Next, Disney needs to get the rights to The Phantom and The Shadow and make all 3 of them part of a shared universe set in the 1930's.
