Apparently it's gonna be a sequel with David Oyelowo instead. He's a retired Tuskegee Airman who takes up the mantle.

Hopefully it will be a 'legacy-quel' and feature Campbell & Connelly in supporting roles

They better be. Campbell anyway I don't except JC would be that interested

One problem I see with both of them being involved is that Connelly and Campbell had a nasty breakup in real life. Did they ever patch things up or are they still bitter about it? I know she has moved on and married Paul Bettany.

It is going straight to streaming so i would doubt they would have much of a budget.

I hopeit is an actual sequel and not another lazy race swapped remake.
