So I have seen this movie a few times over my life and I still havent figured out why everyone is always wearing mask or covering their mouth/ nose, does anyone have a clue

They wear masks because the atmosphere is so polluted from the WWIII, the war that outlawed all other wars. This movie is so awesomely lame, I'll have to keep an eye out for it in the dump bin at Walmart. Anyone notice the RCA connectors on their gloves at the end?
