Stupidest line ever?

"I shall never fear my father's sword"

It is well known that swords decide which master to serve.

Apart from that, cool movie ;)

The stolen sword was going to be used to kill Robin of Locksley so the line, "I shall never fear my father's sword" means Robin was not afraid. He used a poorer sword to fight his defense and did so triumphantly. With his little hidden dagger, he reclaimed that mighty sword, if you recall. This is my favorite movie. I love it!!!

It's one of my top 5 films, I never get bored of watching it.

I agree. But I'm wondering why the Sheriff took Robin's father's sword (traditional old steel) instead of one of the newly made swords (Spanish steel of a better quality).

The stupidest line ever is "Do you know what happens when a toad gets struck by lightning? The same thing that happens to everything else."

Death to shakeycam directors!

Ha, definitely up there. God what an eyeroller.

Robin was basically saying he loved and trusted his father and had faith that God or his father wouldn't allow the sword to do him harm.

My interpretation anyways.

Yeah, the line about the toad was underwhelming.

"Getting louder."
