The telescope

The part where the Moorish guy shows Robin Hood a telescope, and he doesn't know what it is....just stupid.

1) The telescope wasn't invented until the early 1600s.

2) It was invented in Europe.

Even watching that asa kid, I knew enough about astronomy to know how dumb that was.
