um dude, why isn't the little girl wearing a shirt?

If both the girl and all of her legal guardians (read: parents) approve of the way the scene is to be shot, and if there is a welfare worker present, then they may shoot a topless scene of a younger girl, but there must be absolutely no sexuality whatsoever to the scene, and there needs to be a reason for her to be nude. In this case, the heat on the island, and then lack of shirt on her playmate Richard would both have been reasons (plus, small children in hot places tend to simply take their clothes off to get comfortable)

I don't see why people are so offended over a little girl without a shirt! Imagine if a little girl in real life would have grown up on an island alone with her mother, and another child. Do you really think that she is going to be so modest to wear a top to cover her breast when no one else is on that island? It wasn't like her breast were in bloom, neither was there any activity of sexuality.

The General people at large tend to think that children are raped, murdered, or molested simply because their breast are exposed, but in reality the victims are usually those that are totally clothed.

I will agree that topless girls were more acceptable 20 years ago than it is now because all this mis-leading hysteria!

I don't remember how old she was exactly, but they are plenty of pictures of me running around the beach topless when I was a kid. There is no problem with it as long as the girl or the way she is photographed isn't sexualized.

I have seen thousands of Little Girls presenting themselves as topless in public and I am not disturbed over it at all! It is unfortunate that hysteria has to make such a big deal out of it and turn something very innocent into something very filthy! I have been to several islands in Polynesia and there are more girls running around 'shirtless' than the boys! Infact they even run topless in the rain!
