If Henry didnt work and quit his job how did they live financially. Great film that I saw years ago and just saw again tonight. Always wondered that.
shareHe was obviously obscenely wealthy from his previous personality, so his family would be set for life I would have thought. However, this is a fairy tale and details like that shouldn't matter as this is a "happily ever after" story.
shareI wondered that as well.. People obviously were concerned about their financial well-being when he was in hospital but I think perhaps them down-sizing helped that a lot and they obviously took their daughter out of the expensive school and I think they got rid of their housekeeper. I think she had a job plus their assets would tide them over until he gets another job
shareThe wife specifically said they had not saved any money. Their only asset was the apartment.
I would imagine that he had disability insurance through his job if not on his own.

I'm wondering if with the selling of the apartment they didn't figure out a way to get enough back to keep a couple years of savings around while Henry and Sarah tried to find some means of income. Was Sarah employed?
