Beautiful Score...

I love the score to this film, and like any really good score (not soundtrack), I don't think I heard & loved it when I saw the film in the theater. NOt until it was used for something I was a part of in University that Fall. So odd to go back and see any negative talk about it, we all loved this movie when it was on the Big Screen. Harrison Ford's acting is still beautiful to watch, for me. He is one of those actors that, despite "Epic" roles in films that were SO popular and were trilogies (in my mind there were only 3 Indiana Jones flicks), never was pigeon-holed because of his great range.

I haven't seen this movie in ages, recorded it the other night & am remembering some score-related things that would bore strangers. But it was one of the parts of the film that made it so beautiful.

Question.... I just read for the first time that JJ Abrams wrote RH! That is beyond impressive, I was 21 when it came out, so he was what like 25? The film feels like someone would have to have lived long enough to regret choices and hope for a second chance - so I am all the more impressed that if I read it right and Abrams wrote or co-wrote "Regarding Henry"? My hat is tipped to him, forever :)

The music is beautiful, I recommend buying the score. It tells a story of its own, sometimes poignant, sometimes light-hearted, but just so perfect for this movie, I hope it was at least nominated for some awards.

(And holy cow, watching a movie for the first time - oh yikes - 25 years later? Everyone looks so young! I love Annette Bening here as well she is just perfection as well. Wonderful, wonderful cast)
