with her lame quasi-feminist rambles and new agey attitude towards life, mentioning "creative power of the universe", im surprised robert duvall didnt stick her ass in a mental insititution! she was so annoying, and always had to have HER way and going against the morally correct "daddy" robert duvall. just terrible, and she always plays this kind of role.

Her performance certainly deserved Oscar nomination, so was her daughter Laura. Duvall married to a rich woman who owned a hotel which he has been managing. She could kick his ass if he toyed Rose as a sexual object. It's good to see Duval sporting hair for change.
