... if they still made films like this? I'm looking at the current 6.8 rating and it just saddening. Meanwhile "films" like the hunger games and the star trek reboots and utter crap like that get high ratings. It's a sad society we are becoming.

shareI absolutely agree. Unfortunately, with the younger crowd that the filmmakers seem to cater to, a film must have nudity, simulated sex, violence and, with luck, lots of car chases -- slightly modified now and then to accommodate different times and locations.
Lots of exciting CGI seems to make up for serious failures in writing, directing and acting.
Sad, but true.
Yep I totally agree, it's the age group of most of the raters. Seeing as teens and 20 somethings are the heaviest net users, it's understandable that they'd rate movies aimed at them higher than others. Sad but true
