great film but nobody wants to talk about it

I think this film is too underestimated, even if it's quite interesting: no archetype-characters,involving and nostalgic story,good acting and music,but the actors who starred in it never mention it, unlike The Big Chill cast. It's obviously a small independent film but everybody forgot it: I just heard Kevin Bacon and Joe Mantegna saying something like that :"we did not earned any money with those independent movies". So is that the only aim of two wonderful actors like them?

I really enjoyed this movie, I just recently bought the dvd.

I certainly think this movie must be great. It was interesting, touching and ridiculously funny. Me and my sister still crack up on some of the witty banter like "What hit you?", "Seabass, from Maine.", "Fresh or frozen?", "Freshfozen!"

And we only saw this movie once about ten years ago. It must have made an impact.

I thought it was a good movie. I liked Joe Mantegna and Kevin Bacon and I especially liked Jamie Lee Curtis. 8/10

My only problem is the DVD, which is bare bones (Save for the trailer) and not presented in its original 1:85 aspect ratio.
