I saw a show on TV labelled "Prospero's Books" but it wasn't this movie. It had all the same characters as the opening scene including Gielgud as Prospero surrounded by the dancing girls but he continued walking in a cycle describing each of the characters he passed them. Has any else seen this? Was it like a making of the movie or a spinoff? Is it available anywhere?

Hi, I think you might have seen the short film "A Walk Through Prospero's Library" 1991, where the books of Prospero are described etc...(saw it in 1994), roughtly 20 min as I recall. Have never seen it on VHS or DVD - does this help you?
Still have the original VHS of "P.B." As far as I know still no DVD of the main film available, but just checked on P.G.s webside, they show a DVD now, but unavailable... that is a real rarity. cheers
