3.6 out of 10?! EFF THAT! Underrated as hell!

This movie is absolutely hilarious, and you'll never see a movie like this get made ever again in the major Hollywood studio system. It is clearly a case of a director, and writers just pulling out all of the stops, and taking the concept to a cartoonish extreme. It's absurdity IS it's appeal. It's a kids movie that isn't really for kids, meaning that it simultaneously appeals to kids, and adults. It's the kind of thing that a kid can actually grow with, and appreciate more, and more of the humor over time.

People are prudes. This movie was hilarious when I was a kid and is still pretty damn funny now.

I just watched it on HBO and was laughing, as you said the directors, the scripts, acting, characters, cinema location, picture quality was just superb than any of the latest films that come out.

This just proves that people/kids these days have becomes so deteriorated, they are so poor in assessing quality, scripts, direction, picture quality, it is mind boggling.

I have lost faith in humanity, people are so low grade quality these days which just makes you wonder there is no point living in this world..and it's going to get worse !

People that lose faith in humanity over dumbass reasons like yours make me lose faith in humanity.

I'm the grim reaper, lardass, and you're my next customer.

I totally agree. This movie had me laughing. Half of the scenes in this movie will never be replicated nowadays in Hollywood. It surely was a kids movie but had a dark humor in it. I don't think parents these days will be able to handle seeing a kid giving people the finger in a movie. That one with Trixie was absolutely hilarious.

Totally agree! It still holds up today and it still made me laugh when i saw it on TV the other day. Hardly any film makes me laugh in Hollywood these days - they seem to be trying too hard or trying to be too shocking or too mean. This movie was a good balance of hilarity, shock, wit and mean-spiritedness, yet was still light-hearted and had the fun spirit of childhood. that's what 's so great about it.

This movie is genius.

I am always rooting for this kid. This kid could easily become annoying (dennis the menace) but everything he does is badass.

A feel good movie. You can't hate on this.

no, this movie is awful and tasteless, it's unfitting for kids and adults alike. i've no idea what sick mind came up with it, and if anything the score should go lower.

Only teens and tweens would find the humor amusing, but its clearly not geared for that age group. Its either an immature movie thats too nasty for the kiddies, or a sly subdued comedy for the adults masquerading as stupid.

Having just watched it again, I'd say its really not that sophisticated. The only good news is it got John Ritter back in TV with Hearts Afire.
