It always makes me laugh when Tom threatens to throw the violin over the balcony.
Nick is excellent in that scene and I love that Tom knows he has the upper hand in that moment and really has a go at Lowenstein's husband. Such a brilliant moment.

Yes it would have been awful if he had dropped it. I don't think he would have done that though he just wanted to upset him.

I know Stradivari is long dead, and there are no more Stradivarius' being made, but if that violin was/is really worth $1,000,000, WOW! Are they really, depending on their condition/market fluctuations/willing buyers of course, worth that much?
