Mistake

I bought a DVD for this film by accident. For some reason I thought the picture on the cover was a young Jenny Seagrove. I think perhaps it was in a little heap where one DVD did actually feature Jenny Seagrove and I was in a dozy state of mind - it happens, some times quite a lot.
Anyway, never mind, for 25p I think I just about got my monies worth. There is nothing good about this film. It would be a kindness to describe the acting, writing and action as mediocre. But somehow it manages to entertain in a way that better made film fail to do. The scenes thunked together in a predictable way, the end was never in doubt, Tony Curtis was horribly wasted and there was a sprinkling of naked ladies with inflated breasts. But somehow the 16 year old lurking at the core of most men, even one as mature as I, found the film entertaining.
So now I'm off to sift through the heap of super cheap DVDs in the corner to find the one that does feature Ms Seagrove - excuse me, I may be gone some time.
