So was it just me??? (Possible spoilers!)

Or did this movie end with a cliffhanger? I am just curious if there ever was such a thing as a sequel planned for this flick? Just watched it for the first time since i was like seven or eight? I thought it was real cool back then. I do not know if i feel the same way about it today, but it's nostalgic to say the least...

So if anyone have any info on it i would appreciate it...Thanks!
