Why is this so hard to find?

Borrowed the video of this from a friend back in something like 97 or 98, but he's since sold it (damn him!), and I can't find it anywhere else.. Why is it so rare? I can't even find anyone else who owns it or anywhere to download it.. Did the Catholic church somehow intervene to have it pulled or something? Sounds a little far fetched perhaps but it's an enjoyable movie from what little I remember of it, and not offensive (I was a christian at the time I saw it, though Baptist, not Catholic, and still found it funny) enough to warrant it being pulled or banned or otherwise restricted. Any thoughts?
