How shall the stars on the cheeks of this asswiper find a number?

A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep.

I feel bad for people who don't like horror movies like this. Either they aren't horror buffs, or take their horror entirely too seriously, which is sad because they're missing out on a lot of great films. Some of my favorite horror films are cheesy as hell.

It was horrible and I usually love cheesy movies.

It was but in an entertaining way. Jill Schoelen is beautiful and wonderful and most definitely the best thing about this

"I'm just a happy camper! Rockin' and a-rollin'!" - Patrick Bateman, American Psycho

Jill Schoelen was the only really good thing about it. Actually the characters and cast werent bad it's just that the dialogue and script weren't very good. The main villain was pretty lame and I didnt like the twist involving the killer and the ending was stupid too.

I'm a tremendous horror fan, especially low budget, cheesy ones.. and I thought this movie was pitiful.

reply

Yeah. This movie wasn't bad in a funny way, it was bad in an uncomfortable and unpleasant way. There IS a difference. Being a "horror buff" doesn't mean you have to have zero standards. You want to watch a good cheesy horror movie that takes place in a theater? Go watch Demons, not this junk.

reply

I don't think it was terrible, just mediocre. It started good and movies within a movie (which was the best parts) were great, and some of the scares were pretty good for a low-budget, but most of the time, it didn't really seem to have anything going for it. The villain was ridiculous and the ending was horribly dissapointing. A 5 out of 10, I would say.
Oh well, hope "The Refrigerator" or "The Lift" are better! (both on my watchlist)

I agree. I grew up on this kind of horror. It's not polished, it's never scary, the acting isn't great, the plot is lacking..., but darn if it doesn't hit a sweet spot for me. I like higher-budgeted films too, but I think these kinds of flicks are a lot of fun.

It was a fun movie.

...on the other hand, 'Mosquito' was effing excellent. "We'll have to drop the A-bomb!" Ho ho ho. Cracking stuff.

...it's just another dumb film, get over it.
