Was the false lead really deserving of 50% of the movie?

Nobody would have seen this and thought that Bodhi was just some buddy he was making. If it was a twist, it wasn’t a good one.

So spending exactly half the movie pretending that he wasn’t Utah’s lead was too much. No more than a third was required.
