I watched this movie all the time as a youth in basketball camp and as a high school player. Now I'm 24 with and my 5 year old son loves this movie. It's completely changed his whole life. Now it's always "Pistol Pete" or SpaceJam or Like Mike or Celtic Pride in our house or any other basketball movies this kid can get his hands on. He's such a gym rat too. I'm afraid we'll develop a relationship like the "Pistol" and his father did with basketball as our guiding light. Well it could be worse. He could have fallen in love with a real horrible hobby like video games.

I have Petes homework basketball well worth the purchase.

This film really is so inspirational is is beyond words. I also am 24 but have no kids i do however coach basketball to 8-12 year olds and one asked me just the other day for a list of basketball movies. You know what film was top of the list don't you :)

With the homework basketball, will I be as good as the kid actor? I'm not aiming for professional (too old), just wanna be better.
